Que Vivan Los Torres

Photographing a wedding is always a special experience, but it becomes even more meaningful when the wedding is for someone you’ve known for years. That’s exactly what happened when I had the privilege of photographing my good friend Jaime Torres’ wedding to his beautiful bride, Kerra.

Jaime and I go way back – we’ve been friends since middle school and have shared many laughs and memories over the years. When Jaime first told me he was getting married, I was thrilled for him and couldn’t wait to be a part of his big day.

As a photographer, I know how important it is to capture the essence of a couple’s love on their wedding day. But when that couple is someone you know and care about, it takes on a whole new level of significance. I wanted to make sure that Jaime and Kerra’s wedding photos were everything they hoped for and more – a true reflection of their love and the joy they felt on their special day.

The wedding day itself was beautiful – the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and Jaime and Kerra looked absolutely radiant. As I moved around the venue (The Ballroom at I Street) capturing each moment, I felt a sense of pride and joy knowing that I was playing a part in preserving these memories for them to cherish for years to come.

From the emotional exchange of vows to the lively reception, Jaime and Kerra’s wedding was a true celebration of love and commitment. It was an honor to be able to document each moment and create a visual story of their special day.

Looking back on the experience, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunity to photograph their wedding. As their friend, I couldn’t be happier for them and as a photographer, I’m thrilled to have been a part of their love story in this way. It’s moments like these that make me grateful for the power of photography and the ability it has to capture the beauty of life’s most precious moments.
